The STEUTE STM 295 2Ö/2S-R is a reliable safety solenoid interlock from the STM 295 series, designed to protect personnel by safely locking machine guards, doors, or covers. This interlock switch prevents access to hazardous areas until dangerous machine movements or processes have stopped, controlled by an integrated solenoid.

This model operates on the Spring-to-lock principle (also known as Power-to-unlock), meaning the guard is locked by spring force when the solenoid is de-energized and can only be unlocked by applying power to the solenoid. It offers a high holding force of 1000 N. The switch features a contact configuration of 2 Normally Closed (NC) and 2 Normally Open (NO) positive break contacts, providing essential feedback for safety circuits and signaling.

Constructed with a durable glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic enclosure and rated IP67, the STM 295 2Ö/2S-R is built for demanding industrial environments.
