Product Description: The Turck MS1-12Ex0-R is a single-channel isolating switching amplifier from the MultiSafe series, engineered to establish intrinsically safe circuits in industrial automation environments. This module acts as a reliable interface and galvanic barrier between NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts located in hazardous areas (Ex-zone) and the standard control systems (PLC/DCS) in the safe area. The device features an intrinsically safe input circuit and dual parallel-controlled relay outputs. The output operation mode (direct/NO or inverse/NC) can be hardware-configured using external terminal jumpers. Housed in a compact IP20 plastic enclosure designed for DIN-rail mounting, it offers a cost-effective and dependable solution for explosion protection.
